practice

I am going to practice all day today. I have a few things that I need to work out to get right. I also want to say that I have been busy and my strength is not as good as I would like it to be now.

We have a pole dance class around here and I have not been in about 3 weeks. I want to sign up for a one month unlimited calls which is $79.00 but if I plan it out right then it will be just right for me. I think that it will be good for me...I need the extra practice and my pole now is so close to my bed that I am limited in what I can do.

I have also noticed on a lot of the forums that I am on and a few blogs that I have read that pole dancing in wonderful for housewives but they are not like strippes in any way. Can I just say that in America I have noticed that there is so much prejudice about pole dancing. It is ok for a person to dance around a pole and it is fun and makes them feel sexy but a strpper is the equvalent to a prostitute. Can I be the one to say that I am so sick of people who say that they are open to new things and don't want people to judge them but they judge others. You really do not know what something is all about until you walk in the other person's shoes.

I can say first hand that when I was dancing I have known girls who danced to get through school, to take care of thier children, to pay for drug habit, or just because. I have seen nasty girls who will do anything for money (and very little money) and I have seen girls who will not even give a lap dance (no touching boys). Can I also say that these women who are so worried about thier husbands going to the strip clubs have no chance of being with a "stripper" also there are a lot of the girls that I worked with that would not date a guy anyways. I was put into my situation because my daughters father was not providing for us the way that he should have so I had to make a tough decision...make $5.00 and not make the rent and maybe get to eat every other day or work at a club. It took me awhile before I made that choice and it was not an easy choice. I made sacrifices and I learned from the choices that I made. If you were to meet me on the streets or at work you would NEVER guess that I worked at a club...so how can you judge something that you know nothing about? Just something to think about.

This blog is for my rants about working at a club and how strippers a viewed I want to bring my story out. I also want to write about my pole dance experience. I have always loved to dance and I love to dance sexy and pole dancing gives that to me along with floor and lap dancing. I guess you can say that you can take polechick out of the strip club but you can't take the strip club out of polechick.

I have been online this morning and playing different music videos. There are so many good songs to dance to that move me and I just don't have any songs that are "popular" now that I want to dance to...they just don't move me like some older songs. Does that make me old??? Oh well, I am inspired and that is all that matters. I am not pressed to get any tricks today...I just want the music to move me....after all, that's what it is all about. I wish I could place videos online but I have a few reason why I will not post and videos...I may post some pictures later on though (maybe).



1) people are ignorant online and have no respect (have you ever heard the saying...if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it?)



2) I feel like I should be getting paid (I guess that's the stripper in me~I guess it never goes away)



3) I don't know how to xfer the videos that I take to the computer. I can figure it out if I really wanted to do it but I just don't want my stuff all over the net. I guess there are others out there that are a lot braver then I am. I give them major props and respect all those that place their vids on the computer.



Ok, so I said my piece....I do have a question though..what songs make you really want to dance? I have several and some that you may have never heard before....I love all kinds of music and have dance to everything you can imagine. Just because a song if fast does not mean that you can not be sexy and slow.

a fresh start

Welcome to my pole dancing blog. Just a little about myself. I use to work at a club as a stripper and I love to dance. This is my journey to learn pole tricks. When I was working it was all about the hustle and making money and not so much about the pole tricks. I am learning now though. This is my place to talk about the ups and downs of learning tricks and staying fit. There is no better workout in my mind that dancing on a pole. It's tough work and rewarding when you can get the trick that you are trying to learn down.

If you have any questions about what I am doing that please ask me. I can also assist if you are trying to locate a class near you and if you want to purchase a pole than just ask and I can give you some feedback about the different poles available. I have an X-pole and I love mine!

I am going to use this as a way to keep track of my progress. I hope you follow me along my journey. This will be a fun ride ;)
